About Soccer Academy Calgary UA
Every Great Journey Begins With an Idea
The story of Soccer Academy Calgary UA began in the summer of 2023 with a vision to create a modern soccer Academy in Calgary where every child could develop in a professional, positive, and supportive environment.
The first training sessions were held on a volunteer basis with just two young players. Within only a few months, that number had grown to approximately thirty.
While training continued on the field, extensive work was taking place behind the scenes to build the Academy, develop its philosophy, establish internal standards, and complete all legal and organizational requirements.
On June 12, 2024, Soccer Academy Calgary UA was officially registered. We proudly celebrate this date as the official birthday of our Academy. From that moment, our vision became a reality.

Representing Calgary in Germany
In the summer of 2026, Soccer Academy Calgary UA proudly represented Calgary, Alberta, and Canada during an international football tour in Germany.
Our Academy won the championship at an international tournament in Hamburg, delivering an outstanding performance against strong European opposition.
The tour also included participation in one of Germany’s premier youth football tournaments in Lehrte, near Hannover, where our players had the unique opportunity to compete against some of Europe’s most respected football Academies. During the tournament, Soccer Academy Calgary UA faced the Academy of Manchester City, who later became tournament champions.
Manchester City (England) · Benfica (Portugal) · Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) · Schalke 04 (Germany) · Roma (Italy) · Fenerbahçe (Türkiye) · Galatasaray (Türkiye) · AEK (Greece) · Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) · Dinamo București (Romania)
Experiencing this level of international football reinforced our belief that exposing young players to different styles, cultures, and competitive environments is an essential part of long-term player development.
The Greatest Chapters Are Still Ahead
Soccer Academy Calgary UA continues to grow with purpose and ambition.
Our vision extends beyond daily training sessions. We are committed to expanding our development programs, strengthening international partnerships, organizing tournaments and football camps, and creating meaningful opportunities for young players both in Canada and abroad.
Every decision we make is guided by one mission: to inspire children to love the game, develop their potential, build strong character, and create opportunities that will positively influence both their football journey and their future in life.
