International Football Experience SAC UA

International Football Experience is a dedicated international football program developed under Soccer Academy Calgary UA in cooperation with FEOLO. The program has its own identity and official emblem, using SAC UA as an abbreviation of Soccer Academy Calgary UA.

Through this dedicated direction, players can prepare for and participate in international football experiences, competitive tournaments, developmental trips, and other football opportunities abroad.

These are not simply tournament trips. Selected players take part in a structured preparation program in Canada before travelling internationally as a team — the program combines player development, team preparation, international competition, travel, and cultural experience.

How It Works

From Tryout to International Competition

Players enter the program through a tryout and evaluation process. Following selection, each age-group team follows its own structured preparation pathway.

Germany 2026

Champions in Hamburg

In the summer of 2026, Soccer Academy Calgary UA proudly represented Calgary, Alberta, and Canada during an international football tour in Germany. Our Academy won the championship at an international tournament in Hamburg, delivering an outstanding performance against strong European opposition.

The tour also included one of Germany’s premier youth football tournaments in Lehrte, near Hannover, where our players competed against some of Europe’s most respected football Academies — including the Academy of Manchester City, who later became tournament champions.

Clubs our players shared the tournament with

Manchester City (England) · Benfica (Portugal) · Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) · Schalke 04 (Germany) · Roma (Italy) · Fenerbahçe (Türkiye) · Galatasaray (Türkiye) · AEK (Greece) · Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) · Dinamo București (Romania)

Academies We Met Along the Way

Part of what a tour gives young players is the company they keep for a week: training and competing alongside academies whose names they know from television, and coaching staff happy to talk shop afterwards.
